Interesting... did hard shadows cut the geometry? I find when I have that sort of ortho angle hard shadows seem to cut the same angles and make the image odd.

Ok, I thought you had probably tried and ran into that issue I have as well.. Next time you shadow an image with view angle like this you are gonna go "ahhhhhh.. thats what MindsEye meant..." heheh : )

Beautiful! It vaguely reminds me of a synagogue in Highland Park, Illinois, that I visited as a kid. Maybe that's why I think of it as more religious than academic.
